Meet Recap

The Lady Trojans traveled to South Lyon East for their penultimate meet of the season. The LP Region 15 competition would help determine which school and athletes would compete for a state championship in two weeks. Despite only having three competing athletes, the Trojans were able to take 8th place in a very strong region. Delanie MacRae earned two medals on the evening by placing fourth in the 100M hurdles and seventh in the 300M hurdles. Staneisha Chambers also earned two medals by placing fourth in the shot put and first in the discus. By winning the regional championship in the discus, Staneisha has qualified for the state championship. Congratulations ladies!

The season will wrap up this Wednesday at Bellville, where the Trojans will compete in the conference championship.
