Meet Recap

The Clarenceville Trojan cheer team placed second at Lincoln Park High School this weekend. They faced district opponents, Cabrini and Summit Academy. The girls got their highest score yet in round two on Saturday! They added triple splits to the round and were able to see an increase in scores due to the new skill. Jamika Bowditch was cleared to return this past week after being injured the last few competitions. She did outstanding in both rounds one and two, learning new parts in a short amount of time. In round one the girls had an amazing presence and zero mistakes! They saw an great increase in their jump scores. In round three the girls added a few challenging stunts that increased their point value. They continue to push themselves in the round to make it more advanced. The girls will work hard over the mid-winter break to prepare for Districts at Flat Rock High School on February 20th. This is the most important meet of the season and the girls are ready to give it their all!
