Meet Recap

The Trojans Track and Field team wrapped up the regular season against the Cranbrook Cranes. In the closest contest of the season, the Trojans dropped a heartbreaker 60-64. The Trojans entered the final race, the 4x 400 with a slim one point lead, but were not able to hold on for the win. Despite the close loss, the Trojans had many standout performances that will prepare the team as they head into the playoffs.

The team was led by wins in the 4 x 800 (Sanchez, Saravia, Cortez, Nolan), 800M (Kyle Nolan), 3200M (Joe Sanchez), Discus (Randy Schmidt), and Shot Put (Austin Smith).

This Saturday, the team will head to South Lyon East to compete in the Regional Finals. Top two finishers in each event will advance to the State Finals.
