Game Recap

In the second game of the double header, Livonia Clarenceville played probably its first complete game.

“It was competitive and we executed well.” -Joe DeCaire, Head Coach, Clarenceville.

It was senior day and the Lady Trojans(5-17) were able to defeat and split the double header versus Redford Union 8-4. Winning pitcher, Freshman, Emily Schmidt (2-8) avenged the game 1 loss by throwing 7 strong innings, allowing 4 runs on 5 hits, striking out 11 and walking 3. Clarenceville was able to jump out to a 4 run lead in the 1st inning, setting the tone for the entire game. Senior, Nicole Scott lead the offense with 2 hits (singles) and a hit by pitch. Junior Claudia Moore and Schmidt each would score 2 runs for Clarenceville. R.U. would not score until the 5th inning.
