Game Recap

Due to a rain out, Livonia Clarenceville visited Dearborn Fordson on a frigid day to earn their first victory of the season (1-4), 17-0 in the 3 inning mercy rule. It was a team effort that only produced 6 total hits, but the Lady Trojans managed to turn 13 walks and 4 hit batsmen into the 17 runs. The offense was lead by sophomore, Claudia Moore who filled the statistic sheet with 2 hits (both singles), a walk, a hit by pitch, scoring 3 runs, stealing a base and having 3 runs batted in. Senior, Mia Sampson would have 2 hits (both singles), a walk, scoring a run and having 3 runs batted in. Junior, Nicole Scott produced a 2 run scoring single in the 3 inning to seal the victory for Clarenceville. Senior Emily Schwartz did what she had to do for her team win (1-4), pitching the distance (3 innings), not allowing a hit, striking out 5 while walking and hitting a batter.
