Tuesday, the Boys Track and Field squad traveled to Redford to take on the Thurston Eagles in a battle for first place in the division. Both teams came into the event at 2-0. The Eagles got off to a quick start; winning the 4 x 800 meter relay. They were able to build on that lead, and the Trojans were never able to quite catch up, despite several event wins. In the end, the Eagles came out on top, and the Trojans will have to wait until the Conference Championships to avenge their loss.
Individual wins for the Trojans included Jonathan Hogan (Discus and Shot Put), Jonathan Harris (400M), and Mitch Kubiak (3200M). The Trojans also took wins in the 4 x 200 relay, and 4 x 100 relay. Clarenceville will look to start a new winning streak on Tuesday (May 5th) when they take on Reford Union at Home.
