Senior Bobby Jaber gave up an unearned run in 4 innings of work, walking none, giving up only 3 hits and striking out 5. Austin Portwood closed out the game throwing one scoreless inning. Jaber also led the way offensively going 2 for 2 with a double, 2 RBI’s and 2 walks. Other Trojans getting hits for Clarenceville were Nick Bisaro, Justin Kelley, Demond Scrutions, Kam MacIver, Nick Snage, Zack Richards and Austin Portwood. “We are on a little bit of a roll right now” said Head Coach Craig Cotter. “We still need to improve defensively, but we are running the bases much better, and pitching much better of late” said Cotter. The Trojans are 6-3 overall and 3-0 in the league, with a double header Saturday April 29th against their crosstown rivals Redford Union. “We always play tough against them, but have not beat them the past 3 years” said Cotter. “We are going to try and change that”
