WARRIORS TRIUMPHS OVER TROJANS 9 TO 7.
Clarenceville comeback fell short over Lutheran Westland. The Trojans battled back from a 6 run and 5 run deficit late in the game. Then the Trojans left the bases loaded in the 7th. “We battled the last 4 innings and that will help us come playoff time” Said Head Coach Craig Cotter. Both Clarenceville and Lutheran Westland won their leagues respectively. Nick Bisaro struggled on the mound giving up 6 run in 4 innings. Bobby Jaber and Logan Calimazzo kept Clarenceville in it after they made their first comeback, pitching the last 3 innings for the Trojans. Clarenceville cut the lead to 3 in the 4th and then to 2 in the 6th. Leading the way for the Trojan offense were Bobby Jaber, Justin Kelley and Demond Scrutions with 2 hits apiece. Scrutions also had 2 RBI’s, as did Kam MacIver. Nick Snage also got on base all 4 times.
Next up for the Trojans is Dearborn Edsel Ford next Tuesday May 30th at 4:30 at Clarenceville. Clarenceville falls to 12-9 on the year
