Trojans News · Trojans take home the title with 3rd shutout of the day


In their 1st ever trip to the Finals of the SMCC Falcon Invitational, the Trojans came out victorious against the host Falcons. After a scoreless 1st half, filled with near misses by both squads, Jacob Weiss came out energized in the 2nd half, and after a near miss minutes prior, Weiss buried the game winner 7 minutes into the half on a beautiful pass from Juan Rios.

Brendan Mahoney, Adrian Hernandez, and Jacob Nabors all came in clutch in the Championship, while Chase Kluesner earned his 3rd shutout of the day and 4th in his last 4 games. Nick Snage took home the Tournament MVP, scoring 3 goals on the day and leading his team to the title.

The Trojans are now 4-2-2 (1-0) on the season, and they travel to Thurston Monday looking for their 5th straight win and shutout.
