Debbie Klinger is the licensed, certified athletic trainer who works with Clarenceville Athletics. She is employed by MedSport, the sports medicine program that is part of Michigan Medicine (formerly University of Michigan Health System.) She is based out of the Ann Arbor clinic at Domino’s Farms.

Work history: Debbie spent ten years working in a sports medicine / health club facility in Williston, North Dakota. She then moved to Madisonville, Kentucky and worked with a large high school (Madisonville North Hopkins) providing athletic training services as well as working in a sports medicine clinic. She returned to Ann Arbor, MI in January 2008, and worked with the Clarenceville Trojans thru November 2010. After a brief hiatus away, she returned back as the Trojans’ athletic trainer again in August 2012.
Athletic Training Services at CHS: Prevention and care of athletic injuries; treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries; assist with referral process when athletes need to see a physician; resource for nutrition, dehydration, strength and conditioning, and other topics related to care of athletes.
Debbie’s schedule changes with the sports seasons. During the fall, she is at school daily for football practice coverage, as well as coverage of home and away varsity football games, home JV football games, and home boys soccer games. During the winter and spring sports seasons, she will mainly cover home basketball games, wrestling matches, girls soccer games and track/field meets. Debbie is available for consultation about injuries for all athletes at Clarenceville High School, not just the ones listed above.
