Game Recap The cheer team came in 2nd at Saturday's competition. They beat Monroe Jefferson, Flat Rock and St. Catherine's, most of which they will be seeing at Districts. It was a very close competition, losing to Summit by just 3 points. The cheer team has Districts this Friday at Ladywood at 6:30.

Game Recap Trojans lost a battle against Andover in a game that was close throughout and got away late. Sophomore Jermell Johnson paced the scoring for Clarenceville with 17 points off the bench and was dominant on the offensive glass. Kimani Dooley had 14 and was key in a third quarter rally that got thevTrojans back in the game. Jawan Nelson had 12 and did a nice job at the point against an aggressive high pressure defense. The Trojans don't get much rest as they suit up again Tuesday at home for a game against former Metro Conference rival Harper Woods.

Game Recap Richmond High School was the host of individual districts and the Clarenceville wrestlers were able to advance three wrestlers on to regionals, which will be held at Manchester High School next Saturday. The three guys that are moving on are Mikey Weiss at 135, Domanick Slagle at 145, and Aaron Bibik 160. Aaron Bibik won the tournament while Mikey and Domanick both finished in fourth place.

Game Recap The district championship match was decided by one match. The Trojans came up on the wrong end of close wrestling meet losing to Clawson high school. Clarenceville went to the finals of the district meet after a win over Pontiac Notre Dame Prep., 71-12. The Trojans had 6 wrestlers, Mikey Weiss 135, Joey Walker 140, Domanick Slagle 145, Devin Howell 152, Aaron Bibik 160, David Curvin 215 all go 2-0 on the evening, again just couldnt get the 7th win. The team record for the season sets a new dual meet record for the school with 19 wins and had 11 defeats.

They were led by Ricky Rutenbar with 214, 201 who had help from Kaylup Richards with 185, 230; Tyler Fox with 204, 193; Kyle Kissandi with 182, 212; and Matthew Thayer and stephan clark both with 200 games.
