Game Recap On Saturday Clarenceville hosted a team tournament against Hartland B team, Pontiac Notre Dame Prep, and Lutheran Northwest high school. The Clarenceville wrestling trojans went 2-1 as a team on the day losing to Hartland B. Clarenceville was lead by Mikey Weiss, Aaron Bibik, Shane Martin who went 3-0 on the day and Joey Walker 2-0. Overall the wrestling team looked really well Saturday they just had a few key losses that were the turing point between first place Hartland and the trojans coming in second. Clarenceville has there ONLY home meet of the season upcoming on Wednesday the 9th.

Game Recap The Trojans made the long trip to East Middle School to close out their pre-holiday season. The first half saw little scoring as both teams failed to hit their shots The East Titans took a 10-6 lead into halftime. Unfortunately, the Trojans were not able to match the energy of the East squad in the second half and fell 31-17. The Trojans enter the break with a 4-4 record.

Devin Dunn led the scoring with 6 points. Parker Graham added 3. Blake Grice-Brunson, Curtis McKinney, and Grant Mueller each chipped in 2. Henrie Che and Brad Trout put in 1 a piece.

Game Recap The 8th grade basketball team had another close game yesterday against Farmington East Gold team. The Trojans had a tough time scoring in the first half as they found themselves down 13 to 3 until Zach Richards hit a 3 pointer at the buzzer to cut the lead to 13 to 6 going into half-time. In the second half Clarenceville continued to trade baskets with East and with 7 seconds left, Mike Young drilled a 3 pointer to cut the lead down to 2. The Trojans quickly fouled, but East went to the line and made their free throws to seal the victory 31 to 27. Leading the Trojans was Torrie Bowen with 9 points and 10 rebounds. Mike Young added 5 points. Bobby Jaber, Christian Blakely and Zach Richards each scored 3 points and Cass Copeland and Kam MacIver chipped in with 2 points. Another great effort boys. The Trojans next game will be after the break on Tuesday January 8th. Have a happy holiday.

Game Recap Tonight Clarenceville wrestled Summit Academy and Dearborn High school, the wrestling tojans were on their game tonight going 2 and 0 as a team. From top to bottom we wrestled the best I have seen all year! We had 7 guys go 2-0 on the day. Its a great day to be a Clarenceville Trojan!!

Game Recap The 8th grade basketball team lost a heartbreaker yesterday to a very good Ferndale M.S. team, who only has 1 loss all season. The Trojans found themselves down by 3 after the 1st quarter, but fought back to tie the game and then take a 4 point lead into half-time. Ferndale stormed out in the second half and with some pressure defense jumped out to a 9 point lead. Clarenceville would not quit though. Led by Cass Copeland, the Trojans figured out how to break through the Ferndale pressure and slowly cut into the lead. With about 40 seconds left in the game, Torrie Bowen made a lay-up that put the Trojans up 32 to 31. Ferndale came down the floor and in a mad scramble scored a basket and got fouled. The Ferndale player missed his free throw and with about 15 seconds left the Trojans came down and both Cass Copeland and Mike Young had two good shots that unfortunately rimmed out of the basket and Ferndale escaped with a 33 to 32 victory. The Trojans were led by Bowen who had a career high 9 points. Mike Young had 6 points, Christian Blakely had 5 points. Tyshaun Sendezera scored 4 points and Ty Lakner, Bobby Jaber,Zach Richards and Kam MacIver chipped in with 2 points each. Clarenceville also had great efforts from Jon Murphy, Ahmadi Manning, Justin Kelley, Sam Wakefield and Anthony Johnson. Great game boys. Keep working hard.

Game Recap The Trojans welcomed the Ferndale Eagles back to the Clarenceville Coliseum for their second match of the season. The Eagles were anxious to get revenge on the Trojans for the first game of the season and quickly opened up a 4-0 lead after the first period. The Trojans fought back over the next two periods and took a 10-9 lead into half time.

Ferndale pushed the pace in the second half and opened up a 22-15 lead going into the final stanza. The Trojans made a strong push on the back of a strong press, but the Eagles sank their free throws and put away the game.

Devin Dunn and Grant Mueller led the team with 4 points each. Bekim Lulanaj and Brad Trout each put in 3. Parker Graham, Kyle Nolan, and Curtis McKinney added 2 a piece.
