Boys Varsity Bowling · Boy’s come away flat in Muskegon

Clarenceville High School 17th 0

As high and together that the boy’s were as a team in Flat Rock, they came to Muskegon for the state finals and bowled just the opposite. Even though they were greatly disappointed in their performance as a team, they still managed to finish in 17th place. Putting that into perspective, the boys should feel very proud of their bowling accomplishment. 99 teams in Division 3 started the season and competed in the Regional event. Of these, 18 qualified for the State finals with only 6 being Regional Champions, with Clarenceville being among the elite 6.. With 18 teams advancing in the qualifying, only 8 teams made the final cut for the championship round and only 1 team was crowned the champions. SO, finishing 17th in the state is a great accomplishment for the boy. With only one senior on the team, I look forward to an even better season next year
