EAGLES CLAW TROJANS 8-2. Clarenceville had no answer to Southfield Christian’s 6 runs in the first two innings. Trojan Sophomore Tavian Cruz, gave up 6 runs, 4 Earned in two innings and Clarenceville could not recover. “Tavian struggled a little but our defense gave him no support” Said Head Coach Craig Cotter. “Not a good recipe for success”. Nick Shute finished the game throwing 4 innings giving up 2 unearned runs on 1 hit and 4 errors committed behind him. The Trojans could not get much going offensively striking out 11 times and collected only 2 hits by Shute. The Trojans fall to 11-12 on the season. Up next is Garden City at home at 4:30 on Monday 5/21.
