Both sets went to extra points, but the Trojans came away without a win. Strong hitting by Ashlyn Kluesner and defense from Helena Christian helped the team keep it close.

The Trojans rebounded with two victories against Romulus High School. Strong serving by Bailey Black and blocking by Kaitlyn Vallimont led the team to victory. Clarenceville followed that up with two victories against Crestwood High School. Kayla Strabrava was great at the net and setting, and clutch serving by Nylah Bryant helped ensure two more wins.
The final opponent of the day was tournament runner up Dearborn High School. The Lady Trojans had game point against a strong opponent, but could not pull out the game.
