The Trojans fought hard against Cranbrook on Monday, but came up short, losing 1-2 on the road. The Trojans were ahead in the first set but were unable to match the Cranes’ offense and fell short. In the second set, the Trojans were ahead the entire match and thanks to a few heads up plays, they forced the tiebreaker set to 15. Down early 11-3, the Trojans were able to make a comeback to tie it at 12, thanks to 5 consecutive serves from Ryan Jaber. Ultimately they ran out of time to make the full comeback, and lost 15-12. Standouts included Aaliyah Gay and Kayla Coleman who each had 1 block and 2 kills. Julia Kelley and Ryan Jaber had 3 kills each.
