The Trojans ended their season in dramatic fashion on Thursday, losing a heartbreaker on the road to the Cranes of Cranbrook, 12-25 and 23-25. After a slow start with few offensive plays in the first set, the Trojans started strong in the second, starting the match with a 6 point run. The Trojans were much better defensively and on offense and led the Cranes the entire match until they were tied at 22 points. Unfortunately the Trojans couldn’t keep up with the Cranes strong serving. Sydney Nardizzi led the serves going 8-for-10, and Ryan Jaber led the offense with 2 kills. Libero Daniele Mullen had 6 digs, and Tamia Crump had 2 blocks.
The Trojans finish their season 9-4 overall and 9-1 in WWAC play.
